About
Access is the whole point.
Teresa Tech exists for one reason: the public systems that shape people's daily lives are open in principle and closed in practice.
How we work
Six commitments, held in public.
- Products, not projects
- No client projects, no hourly work, no retainers.
- The losing side doesn't pay
- Where someone is on the wrong end of a process, they are not the revenue source. Institutions and professionals pay. Residents don't.
- Measure, don't editorialize
- We report what a test found and the date it ran. The judgment belongs to the reader.
- Publish the method
- If you cannot check how a number was produced, you shouldn't trust it, and we don't expect you to.
- No conflict of interest
- Where we measure something, we don't sell the fix for it. Independence isn't worth anything when there's something waiting behind it.
- Accessible by default
- Anything we publish about accessibility has to meet the standard it describes.
Where things stand
One thing at a time.
Teresa Tech ships one thing at a time and says nothing about the products that aren't ready. Accessibility reporting is the first to open.
The Veritas Ecosystem is the project this company was started to build. Coming soon...
The through-line is access. Community empowerment, equity, and environmental accountability all reduce to the same question: can the people a decision affects see it, understand it, and have a say in it?
